New Album! So. Much. Love.

Hi fancy new years people!

GUESS WHAT I GOT.

Ok, you can stop guessing, it’s a new album. It got delivered on the 31st and I can’t say anything else but “OH WOW OH WOW YAAY”. Also it made for a great NYE cause I’m not that into fireworks and bad tv.

This album is by Asuka Books. I ran into their stand at Professional Imaging and fell in love on the spot. They only work with photographers (as in no your mom can’t order her holiday pics there).

I fell in love because their albums were simple but gorgeous. Of course the quality of the prints is amazing too. All the other album vendors had these horrid, tacky albums with far too much ‘bling’. These guys though: NOT THE CASE.

I got a demo album with my favorite specs:

image

It comes in a box that protects it. I can design the box anyway you’d like, but I like it to match the album inside. And that’s black too.

image

When you open the box, it ‘gives’ you the album. Like it’s saying ‘yes! you there! Take a look!’.

image

image

And there she is (yes it’s a girl). She has a ‘micro suede’ cover with the names embossed in gold. That means they’re pressed into the material which looks awesomesauce.

image

See what I mean? It. Looks. So. Classy.

image

Also it’s another ‘layflat’ type album. I don’t like it at all when pages stick up and mess with photos. This one behaves perfectly.

image

See. Perfect!

image

And closed again. I LOVE the structure. You can actually pet this album. Of course there’s many other options possible but this is my personal favorite and as it’s my demo album to have I want i to be my favorite ;) In the box there’s this handy dandy space to store the dvd with the photos. Its. So. Complete.

I LOVE IT.

Now please go and get married and order this album. Okido?

Maartje tissu! (and a bit of Harm)

Just a week after their earlier shoot (click!) Maartje asked if I would like to make photos of her tissu act. BOY DID I. As you probably know I get really excited around talented people, specially when they want to work with me. So of to Zoetermeer with me, and on to spending an afternoon with Maartje and Harm running around her :)

image

YAY. Maartje has a very friendly and fun vibe around her. I love how that shows in all the photos. Though in the first one I have to blame myself for making her a bit mysterious with her back towards us and all ;)

image

See! There she is. She has so much fun in what she does. It’s awesome to be around.

image

I also love the colors of her outfit. They really stand out!

image

She really makes you want to do this as well. I mean. She looks so completely at ease and happy with it!

image

THIS PHOTO. ALL THE FREEDOM FEELINGS. Though I’m sure I’d fall right down to the floor ON my face trying to do this myself. Luckily I was on the floor and I got to capture this amazingness :)

image

She would look in the distance thinking about what to do next. Or to Harm, which inevitably led to smiles :)

image

Yay! More fun :)

image

And then all of a sudden she pull this almost 50-ies pinup pose! What! Awesome!

image

We tried for some actionshots as well, knowing the tissu would move and that they might fail miserably as you can’t really predict where her face or any of her limbs might be. BUT THEY WORKED!

image

She goes SUPERFAST. Towards the floor. Really. Winning!

image

Oh and also she has the strength to do this.

image

As mentioned Harm was running around as well. Mostly juggling and at times helping Maartje and me out.

image

Since I was there anyway, I saw no rules about not taking pics of him :)

image

He is jugglings and looking out of the window ladies and gentlemen. Yes he is.

image

I love how these photos aren’t too much JUGGLING but mostly about Harm.

image

And my absolute favorite of Harm. His movements are so finished and tight. You can’t really see that until you freeze it in a photograph. I love this!

Actually I really love the entire shoot. And working with Maartje (and Harm) again! Thank you guys again!

I have the coolest job ever. BAM.

Kami-Lynne Tissu

Remember the ultra flexible girl from the colorful powder throwing shoot? If not you can check right here.  She needed photos of her tissue act, and asked me to do it! Not only was I really excited, I dragged my dad along as well so he could get some different angles during the shoot (kidding he was excited as well ;)).

image

Kami and Tarek (who assisted during the shoot) picked the new location of Codarts for the shoot. YAY! There was a gorgeous wooden wall there as you can see.

image

But also this concrete wall! Happy is me.

image

And then we also got this amazing girl. I loved working with her. I had this compulsion to give her a series of photos to match Tarek’s. Which is kinda impossible cause there’s a gazillion photos of him really.

image
I love this. There’s a lot of black and white in the photos. I feel that in some shots it worked better, it makes it more graphical and her all the more human. I like the contrast between the two.

image

So here’s two perfect examples of my dad and me working together!

image

This epic shot is obviously my dads. I was somewhere sitting my bum on some mat while he was climbing stairs and finding this amazing angle!

image

These two as well. Kami-Lynne would do a ton of things and we would go WAIT WAIT DO THAT AGAIN. And we would see different things. This one is mine.

image

And this one is my dads :)

image

HA. I made one of Tarek just like this, him looking up and thinking. I love these in bewtween moments.

image

This is my favorite photo of the entire shoot. LOVE IT. The light one those fingers. The everything. Her. It’s almost like she’s floating, weightless. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

image

And we finished up with some portraits!

image

I challenged myself to make a photo that is completely Kami, but matched that of Tarek (sorry guys that’s what you get for being an amazingly athlethic cute couple). I think I did :) Even in the colors somehow. Hurrah!

I’m in love with this shoot. Really. I made this a while back but posting about it makes me feel completely the same. I love working with these two and I love working with me dad. I wouldn’t quickly print and frame one of my own photos for my own walls, but the weightless pic might just make it there :)

Thanks guys for a very relaxed and fun morning. Will see you when you get back from conquering the world in a few weeks :)

Fleetwood Mac & Soundgarden & Leonard Cohen

For few months now I’ve been making photos for the awesome Lust for Life Magazine. They send me out and about and I get to see amazing musicians! Hurrah! So far I’ve been to three great acts of which I promised to post a bit more imagery!

image

I’m a complete Fleetwood Mac noob. So don’t expect me to name anyone besides Stevie Nicks ok ;) BUT THIS DRUMMER. HE ROCKS.

image

I love. The. Hand.

image

LOOK I know the female singer ;) This was my first time making photos all the way from the sound and light tables in the Ziggo Dome. I’m pretty happy with how that turned out. Cause admittedly, I was a bit nervous about it!

image

I also got to see Leonard Cohen in Ahoy. Right next to my house yay! He is such a gent!

image

During the first song he was moving about and rocking the stage.

image

This is the photo you can find in the most recent Lust for Life magazine. Hurrah! Leonard would go on to play for THREE hours. THREE. I tell ya.

image

I also got to see Soundgarden! Another first time in the Heineken Music Hall for me.

image

I had a total blast. Really. So grateful for getting the opportunity to do this. Thanks LFL Eva and MusicMaker Patrick :)

I will be going to The National as well soon. And when I collect some more music related shoots I’ll bundle them together as well!

Of all three of these acts I have to say Leonard Cohen stuck with me the most. But also some sad news, I learned the bassplayer from Fleetwood Mac is ill, and they stopped touring. How fast things go.

If you want to read the Fleetwood Mac review by Lust for Life click here and for the Leonard Cohen one here and of course the Soundgarden one right here!

Maartje & Harm: Weg

I met Harm and Maartje during a 5 minute shoot for some promotional photos. I didn’t really get to talk to them much but lucky me they mailed me to make photos for them! Woohoo! The photos are for their act ‘Weg’ which you can check out here (click!)

Please don’t shoot me if I’m getting it wrong Maartje & Harm but their performance is about Maartje playing Harm’s wife. She wants to leave, and he wants her to stay.

They never speak but tell you the story through movement. It’s so cool and impressive.

Also they didn’t mind doing things a million times so I could get every angle!

CHECK THAT OUT. The trust between these two is something amazing to witness.

Her eyes. All points for pretty go to her eyes.

They played out the performance for me so I could capture the feeling. It was really cool in the middle of a field we got to ‘borrow’ from a local farmer.

Did I mention they were real troopers? We had to sprint out of the field several times with all our gear to hide from the rain!

They play this piece so well. Really. If you get the chance to see them perform. GO.

Look at our location! Woo!

And then there was this orange ball scene. WOW.

These two are making a new definition of juggling (ok circus folk please don’t laugh at me I know nothing of juggling and this is SO MUCH COOLER than creepy clowns).

Did you guess they’re the cutest couple in real life too? If not now I told ya :P I think it really helps how they perform together.

Also sexiest photo with orange ball EVER. DONE.

Right after this a MASSIVE amounts of rain came down so we ran for the car.

I loved their patience with me so I could make these kind of shots as well. I love the details and hands.

You see how she is looking away all the time? Wanting to leave. I love how all the photos portray a bit of the theme.

Though not sure she wants to leave!

Also they can do cool stuff!

Pretty girl!

Pretty boy!

I love doing shoots like this! Where I can try to add something to someone else’s creation. It’s superfun for me to work with such creative and talented people! THANK YOU Maartje and Harm :)

Diary: week 36 in black & white

This I’ve been glued to my camera mostly. And sadly I can’t publish most of them until they’ve been released in the book they’re meant for (BUT THERES A BOOK SO YAY!). I tried to keep up with ym diary a bit but it’s really hard for me to combine with assignments. As I’m super focused on well, the assignment.

This monday I took photos for the Solex team (WHO WON YEAH) with our mayor. These are totally not them. These guys are part of a wedding I kinda ended up in and took some photos of.. If anyone knows them. I have a kickass throwing the bouquet shot..

This week was also world harbour days week (or just wereld haven dagen). I was at work there as well accompanied by the best boyfriend ever. Really. Carried my gear all day like the gent he is.

THIS lovely cutie pie was there as well as her daddy is a fireman too :) (you might have seen my dad if you were there, he was hosting the fire brigade demonstrations!).

I wasn’t home that much but when I was I tried to keep up with all the photoshopping AND not locking myself indoors. I got these bright pink (why was this black & white thing a good idea..?) ear phones cause I lost the old ones. The next day I obviously found the old ones back.

MILK AND JUICE. I’m trying the healthy stuff.

My camera did a weird (not the good kind of weird) auto focus thing which i couldn’t reproduce. Which is good. Flukes are ok. But I ended up with a gazillion photos of my fee and the table and the floor..

Rocking the bread.. Doesn’t mozzarella look icky in b&w? BUT rocking the bread.. Can’t eat porridge all my life.

Boyfriend <3

I’m not really sorry for all the shoe shots. I like our feet together. Happy feet.

Also I’m not sorry for all the pics of his hands. I love his hands :)

This week is fruit give away week.. apparently. I need to make a photo of a pineapple. So they gave me a TON (pretty ones btw, they are handpicked). If I need more they’ll bring more. Gotta love the CoolFresh guys! :)

Also I went on a job with my dad in Arnhem. Where they tried to give us TWO crates of apples. That’s 44 apples. We managed to only take one and not insult anyone.

FRUIT FOR LIFE.

I loved this week. Ill love it more when I can post the photos I made but still. It’s superbusy. That’s why I’m a bit late with this. And also it’s a bit short. I’m ok with it ;)

Week 35: Stage Europe Network & Hunkemoller

I’m still not settled on monday or sunday for this post but sunday seems to work too =)

I’ve had a very busy week photographing for Hunkemoller in two cities, and photographing for Stage Europe Network. Very different things ;)

I had to be in Leiden, Rotterdam, Delft and Wijnegem (Antwerpen). I’m seriously tired now hah. I’ ve had a ton of fun this week though!

I started in Leiden with the new styling of one of the Hunkemoller stores there. I’m not finished with all the photos yet so Ill make a seperate blog about that later. Leiden was very lovely though!

Tuesday I spent mostly in photoshop and final cut pro. I’ve realized I find it a lot harder to make photos for my diary when I’m already photographing for something or someone else. So Ill just mix it up :) This is metal band LesDynamic from Norway. They aren’t ‘metal metal’ they just make the music ;)

I love the little in between shots you always get with these kind of impromptu shoots.

Next up was Kjurr from Iceland. We used a local garage and they totally ran with it.

If you have any doubts. IT WAS HIGH. But I love the shot. So do they, so 10 points there =)

Thursday was more SEN time but this time in Roodkapje. They have the cutest ‘coin’ system there :)

The boyfriend picked me up from Roodkapje so we could make the Hunkemoller shoot the day after a ‘day’ in Antwerpen.

As there was a lot of traffic we decided to tour around..

I don’t think anyone had been there in well.. forever. It was great though. Very beautiful. Also psyched boyfriend cause of the offroading ;)

Since Belgium isn’t known for its vegetarian food (not outside Antwerpen anyway) we only had lunch there and decided on dinner in Breda. Which I love. Such a pretty city.

OH AND LOOK I have a new sweater. WHICH WAS A GIFT. From that blond guy on the photo hih. Love :)

And since I was working in a Hunkemoller I couldn’t help myself buying something there.. I ended up with these fluffy babies! (Yes you can wear them in a car, yes I’m aware it was 25 degrees on friday, yes I was still cold :P).

So on saturday it was Westerpop time! Where I took this no more than brilliant photo of Wolf in Loveland. Did you not know wolves eat churros?

After which they run around to burn the calories I guess ;)

HOLD my camera not take pictures of me while half in and out of the (new! yes the same! love it) sweater ;)

So German band Moving Houses ROCKED their shoot (keep in mind we have like 30 minutes to come up with a location and an idea)!

Icelandic band Vök (oh man I hope I’m spelling that right)! I AM SUCH A FAN.

French band A-Jam. They covered Blackstreet. NUFF SAID.

Polish band called Enchanted Hunters! They were so creative :)

Moving Houses got to close the SEN stage. WOW look at that audience :)

ALSO I ordered some clothes online way back. LOOK AT MY CHICKEN SHIRT. No. Really. LOOK AT IT. New fav shirt.

I also got these. Not even close to the chicken shirt I know.

Oh and I also got a new tote from the Moving Houses guys (actually Julia sneaked one to me mwahaha).

I had a superfun, but way too busy week. When I got home on thursday my left eye was like: ooh you need vision? NOPE. So I’m now trying to sleep as much as possible and drink even more juice and stuff. Vision is so handy.

I loved SEN. Again. And I loved Belgium. Way too short! Thank you so much boyfriend for all your help (I guess you never thought you’d be styling a lingerie store but you’ve got talent hih).

Love to you all :)

Shot by Megin (or also week 34 in photos)

I figure I might as well come up with a new name every week for this post ;)

This week consisted of trying to wrap op Alice in Wonderland and that actually working out (yay!). So I didn’t do much besides editing for the first half of the week.

image

This deserves a photo. An avocado that’s not brown/terrible/etc by Albert Heijn.

image

Which I made yummy guac with for lunch :) (this is as far as ‘cooking’ goes with me. I actually cut my finger while making this..)

image

BUT IT WAS GREAT. Ok there was a bit too much onion in there. But I blame the recipe for that (it said one onion).

image

My morning face.. I’ve been sleeping terrible. If I do sleep I have nightmares. It’s very tiring. But I figured it’s a big part of my week so a photo of my morning fuzzyness.

image

New tags! For giving photos!

image

I went to Wijk Bij Duurstede to bring Luuk and Marieke their usb with photos! I’ll finally post a blog about their supersunny wedding soon!

image

This little foot belongs to Hugo!

image

He was VERY serious about meeting me. He is such a sweetie! He was very calm and demanded a hug from me. After which he retreated back to his mom very quickly. Who I was there to meet for sushi! And wedding talk! I had a lovely dinner with Linda in The Hague (where I can’t find my way to save my life but she’s a great tourguide hih).

image

Somewhere during the editting bit my aunt called me and said “Ikea?” to which I said: YES PLEASE. And so I escaped final cut pro ;)

image

And bought lots of goodies! Actually half of what I bought is for Marieke for her awesome baking things to be put on. You’ll probably see them in photos soon :)

image

I cannot leave Ikea without a blanket. Even if I go: NO BLANKETS. I see a new color. And come up with an excuse for me to buy it.

image

More Marieke stuff ;)

image

I GOT LUCKY. I got the last two of these duvet covers. Which I love. Which I got a huge discount (yes the 2.50 IS the price woo!). I already had this actually but wanted them for Hoek van Holland as well :)

image

I’m not that great at ‘real’ jewelry. This ring was given to me by my mom and dad and I rediscovered it. It’s so simple, but so pretty. And was given with love. <3

image

It was time for the annual Elvado bbq! OH MAN was that good food. Meint-Jan has his own fish stand and the salmon was to die for. All the food was great by the way, props for Bas and Meint-Jan for organizing this all. We had a blast :)

image

Somehow we ended up in Scheveningen. Which has this one awesome building. We went there to see The Wolverine by the way. Maybe I should blog about my geekyness some other day ;)

image

And when you turn around there’s a casino. Yeah.

image

The weird thing is I’m so used to the beautiful beaches in Hoek van Holland I expected this to be the same. It’s not. Scheveningen is a bit of a mess. BUT seagulls there, some of them: have AWESOME hair. Like. Really. But they kept running away from me so you’ll have to settle for this one.

image

This thing. What is up with it?

image

Sea and sand and shells are gorgeous everywhere though.

image

And badass seagulls. Look at him pose.

image

Shoes in sand :)

image

It’s a bit of a mess this beach. Apart from the Kurhaus. It feels like I’m in Salou. I’ve never even been to Salou.

image

Love :)

image

image

The beach was covered in little seagull feet. How cute!

image

As we drove back it started to rain and we saw birds everywhere huddle closely together.

Wedding Janine Michael

Yaay I can finally blog about Janine and Michaels wedding! I got to shoot this wedding together with my father. As you might know we team up very often, which allows us the be at places where I just can’t be on my own. I couldn’t help myself and posted a GAZILLION photos which you can see right after the click :)

Janine and Michael contacted me via mail, and I’d never met them before the actual day. We had only met through skype! Which was very handy and fast since we both live on opposite sides of the country.

Their wedding day was so fun, and relaxed. And full of love! Enjoy the photos =)

image

image

I love playing around with well. Everything I can get my hands on. MINT GREEN SHOES. Right? 1000 points. Click read more (if you haven’t already) for the rest of the photos!

image

I loved Janine’s make-up! It was natural but with a touch of glam too!

image

And her hair! Great idea =)

image

image

The funny thing with weddings is that even though I’ve seen these photos LOTS of times, by the time I get to blog them I kindof relive the entire thing. And get all giddy again. I just love moments like these. Mom and sister helping out!

image

image

image

She came in with a smile SO huge! It didn’t go away all day. I totally understand! Psyched!

image

This could be a groom pic right? Isn’t he prince charming?

image

No no not the groom! Dad of prince charming!

image

This is what I mean! While I was with Janine my dad was with Michael, our groom :)

image

image

image

And yes, men do real mean stuff!

image

I love this! It’s even cooler cause I don’t get to see it until we’ve copied the photos at home!

image

Father and son. Wow!

image

image

It’s actually not broken at all ;)

image

On his way to his wife to be!

image

image

Trying to sneak a peek!

image

He has a little bouquet and everything. Heart. Melting.

image

I love this! ALL THE EXPRESSIONS!

image

There she is!

image

I didn’t feel paparazzi at all ;)

image

Oh aren’t they cute? I so love my job! (hah I bet I’m going to repeat this often..)

image

image

image

image

image

image

I have SO many cute car pics. It deserves it’s own blogpost really.

image

Did we mention the big UK bus? No? While I was with Janine and Michael my dad was in THIS COOL BUS!

image

How awesome?!

image

image

image

So Janine and Michael arrived at kasteel Warmelo (gorgeous!) and we had some time for their photos!

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

I don’t like giving too much ‘commands’. I didn’t have to either! We just went for a walk and out came these gorgeous and relaxed photos! (Did I mention LOVING photos?)

image

A moment together before the ceremony.

image

So far for the stickers ;)

image

image

image

image

Here we go!

image

image

image

Her father giving Janine away. This somehow always really gets to me!

image

image

image

image

As the weather decided to be completely untrustworthy the ceremony took place inside. Which was totally great too =)

image

image

image

I DO!

image

image

This is so cool. During the I Do’s everyone is so silent. And when they kissed, BOOM!

image

How can you not have love for this grandpa and grandma?

image

image

By far the best shot of a signing EVER.

image

I guess because I’m a daddy’s girl too, these kinda shots I just love them!

image

image

image

image

image

This photo can go for most charming cake eating of the year =)

image

image

image

I don’t usually do many group photos. The spontaneous group photos usually work much better. But this group was very well trained and it went great! (apart from prince charming running off hah, but no one seemed bummer by that ;)).

image

BUBBLE TIME.

image

image

image

image

That blog about the car, I maybe should do it ;)

image

Awww the cuties were singing!

image

WOW Janines brother made this!

image

image

OH YEAH. What I meant about spontaneous.. This went as followed ‘GROUP PHOTO YEAH GO GO!’. Works out awesome :)

image

image

image

Speeches! I think I love this the most maybe. So heartfelt and full of love.

image

They had doppelgangers!

image

And a very lovely first dance!

image

And an awesome party! With no trouble getting people to dance!

image

Ok so maybe prince charming was running a little low on energy ;)

image

image

image

Doesn’t this look like a great and fun party? It really was! It was in Hoog Holten which I really want to visit again sometime without being busy with photographing a wedding (if you look caerfully you can spot Marike in some of these photos! Who got married in Holten as well! I loved running into her and catching up.

My dad and I were assisted during the day by Jasper, who did a kickass job. We were a superteam. Really. Can’t wait til the next one!

But for now: thank you so much Janine and Michael for trusting us and having us with you on this amazing day. Truly awesome and wonderful!

Week 33 in pictures

Yay week two of the diary thingy. I’m still trying to come up with a witty name but so far I’m going to stick with weeknumbers. Any brilliant suggestions are welcome. I was indoors a lot for the first half of the week so not that exciting there ;)

On mondays we (we being my dad and I) go to Elvado. Lots of doggies there with their owners training them to be badass police/military/etc dogs. I took a gazillion photos and am ONLY POSTING THIS ONE. Be PROUD ;)

I have a porridge phase right now. Once every few months I get SO TIRED of bread. Really can’t stand the sight of it. But one must eat. So I make porridge the way my mom used to make it for me when I was a kid (sugar yay!).

Also I dragged myself to the gym on tuesday. Hurrah. Can you feel the enthusiasm?

The two pairs of (rain)boots are our dogwalking/Elvado-things. I like our hallway =)

In an attempt to not skip bread completely I’ve rekindled my love for tuna. HOW COULD I FORGET?

I matched an outfit. Really. This is a feat. Which is why Ill be repeating the wearing of it later this week ;)

This is Carlos. As of right now he’s still working for the police. But he’ll be retiring in a few months and then will live with us. He’s 10 years old, and very very social. We’ve been meeting with him for a couple of weeks now and will keep meeting with him until he comes over to us. It’s all still a bit fast. But it felt right, and sometimes things fall into place like that. Also he LOVES swimming. And has this thing where he doesn’t shake out the water until you’re very near to him and bound to get wet (really, he plans it!).

MOAR porridge. It’s thursday morning by now. It’s kinda nice to have something warm to eat in the morning though.

Friday my love and I went to Groningen. We went there to deliver the Michael and Janines wedding album. I LOVE bringing it to see how the couple reacts. But we promised Rotterdam gifts, so we went to the Koekela! Cause where else can you go?

I bought several bags.. One on which was slaughtered in the car on the way there..

If for some reason you don’t know where Koekela is, it’s on the Nieuwe Binnenweg in Rotterdam. You can also do a high tea and other nice thing there =)

Had to stop myself at some point from taking photos of EVERYTHING. But please do visit the shop. Great carrot cake too!

On a little break from the 5 hour trip to Groningen (the way back was only 2.5 yeah we detour).

So. We have boy-girl shoe colors. Yeah. That happened.

Driving for too long. This was a very nice parking stop though!

My ‘I’ve been sitting still too long and there’s no internet here face’

Ok not true I was quite alright =) (Shoes mathching the shirt yes yes!)

The boyfriend DOES get a tan. Actually. So there’s the slight chance we wont have glow-in-the-dark-babies.

On the way to Groningen we visited the little village my loves father was born in. This was the view from ppl’s backyard (yeah I sneaked around with my camera like a paparazzi).

Isn’t it cute? And quiet? And yes this street is the entire village!

Then we arrived at Janine and Michaels! Who were very happy with their wedding album (yay!) and i will post their wedding pics this week!

Janine made this amazing vegetarian dish for us! We were completely spoiled with yummie guacamole and other nice things with bread as well!

On saturday I had to work in Delft. Where the boyfriend accompanied me to. We got stuck. In traffic. So. Here’s my shoes (they’re new actually, and for colder weather, but I figured I was cold enough now).

YAY! TRAFFIC!

I do love his hands.

Woo! Selfie. As we were standing still I could balance the cam on my knees ;)

OMG I WANT THIS ELEPHANT. REALLY. Someone please start a fund cause it’s 155 euros and I cant afford that. BUT WOW. ITS SO AWESOME.

So, eh. Delft. We did end up getting there. And in this store. With the awesome elephant lamp. You can visit them online as well: http://www.musthaves.nl/

The girl working there told us about lots of stuff and was really sweet. Apparently the store started out online, and became so popular they now have several ‘offline’ locations.

Cool gadgets!

If we’re starting an elephant fund, can we add this doggy too? Love!

Delft! SUPERbusy by the way. I had to make photos of Sven Hammond Soul and that show was part of Delft Jazz. Duvel Vibes is a sponsor and they asked Dimitir to make photos for them. But he’s on Lowlands being the rock n roll guy he is. So I went to Delft in his place! (Wow this was not very chronological so sorry).

IM FOR SALE!

Delft, is such a cool place. Doors into water and all. Really I like it a lot. It’s hell to drive through and all the tourist kinda get on my nerves (PLEASE WALK IN A DIRECT LINE TO YOUR GOAL). But the city itself is awesome. So many lovely buildings and shops. It gives a real feel of the history.

YAY I made it with week two. I still love doing this. So will keep it up =)
